Lindsey Griffith is a writer, artist, producer, and teacher.

Her work ranges from large community-based productions and interactive art to solo performance, mixing elements of theatre and contemporary performance with sculptural props and costumes to tell stories that are absurd, funny, complex, and strange. She writes plays that are surreal and self-aware, often veering into the metatheatrical to create conversation between the text and the live performance.

Lindsey’s most recent work includes The House on Fire Show, a multi-media youth climate justice drama created in collaboration with artists and activists of all ages. She co-produced this experimental miniseries with creator/director Kyla Kegler and the WNY Youth Climate Council.

Her plays & performances have been presented at the Play/Ground Festival in Buffalo, Samuel French OOB Festival and Abrons Arts Center in NYC, Hardesty Art Center in Tulsa, TBA Festival in Portland, POP! Festival in Montreal, and High Fest in Yerevan, Armenia.
